First time guest and we left very satisfied. Sushi was delicious (pictured is the Sexy Ryan and the Bentley Roll) and prices are average. The outside appearance is lacking but don't let that shy you away. Inside is very Moody and inviting. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy some very well made sushi. Thanks!
FAVORITE sushi place in the area! love love love the quality, taste & price
Before today, I thought I’ve had sushi. But THIS is SUSHI. From the environment inside, the dimmed lights and the cool seats. Amazing service, loved loved it. I came from Garland just to eat here.
It's ok, the chicken teriyaki was yummy but the eel sushi kept falling apart and was really warm, you could tell it had been sitting out for a while I probably wont be back for sushi, but the waitress was nice.
We found this place by happenstance. We were meeting friends from Dallas at one of the big chain restaurants off I-20, but the wait for a table was long. We ventured further north on Matlock, and are we glad we did! Apart from a scarcity of menus, we received excellent service from our server Allie, who made some excellent recommendations. The Gyoza appetizer that we had were delicious and the various types of sushi we ordered were tasty and nicely presented. The green tea ice cream we had for dessert was lovely, but tasted a bit like pistachio; nevertheless, the four of us had a filling and palate-pleasing meal and a bottle of wine for less than $100. That's pretty remarkable.
Food is always great. Service has started to dip
Awesome food and service! We have went here for years and have never been disappointed. The food is super fresh and delicious.
First they gave me the wrong order. Then when I got home and attempted to eat, the fries rice was HORRIBLE!!! It had no flavor and the “chicken” was rubbery and super dark. I also ordered miso soup which had a foul smell and taste. The last thing I had in my order was a shrimp tempura roll. The shrimp tempura roll is the reason I’m giving them two stars instead of one. That was the only thing I was actually able to eat. I’m BEYOND upset that I wasted my money on this.
I work across the street and come also every other day! Well today I brought some friends to try the experience of good food. The guy behind the counter kept watching me and my company. Leaving I stated to the gentleman that I felt very uneasy the way we were being watch. He then came very rudely and told me I don't have to come back yelling curse words. I wish I can upload the video of action . I will never go back and will let my employees know not to return
Wow what a wonderful experience you get with your food. Music and atmosphere push this establishment up to 5 stars. The preparation of the sushi also is worthy of recommendation. Definitely worth trying!!!
5 stars for the sushi, but do not waste your money on the house hot sake. It used to be delightful, but after today’s visit, it was burnt and evaporated of any alcohol. Don’t get me started on the taste. After mentioning this to Ryan, he tried it himself and attempted to pass this off as acceptable. We might or might not be back for the sushi. We will try the other local sushi bar, Nagoya, in an attempt to find another sushi & “bar” restaurant.
This site is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a decent lunch, this restaurant comes right away to my mind. best and many types of food and a rich menu.trained crew, and pleasant atmosphere. Also important, the charge is decent. I recommend this place with no hesitation.
I've been going here for years is a small low lit romantic feel. The food is amazing the service is great and I will always go back.
One of the top sushi spots in Arlington. I've never been upset leaving here. Ryan is a great guy and takes pride in the quality of his work.
This place is amazing. The atmosphere is very dark, and you sit on pillows on benches. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back!
Good lunch specials. We were happy with the choices and the food was very good.
It was absolutely amazing! The food was exceptional and came out very quickly. Our server was the sweetest she made sure we were doing well in appropriate moments. Definitely asking for her again!
Easily the best sushi experience I’ve had. The staff, the food, the drinks. All were by far bring my expectations. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars
Decor: 4/5-Dimmed lighting which helps set the mood-Sushi bar is right in the center-Plenty of seating with tables that can comfortably seat 6 adultsService: 4/5-Great serviceFood: 2.5/5-Domo Tower can either be prepared by yourself or the server. I had the server prepare it. The presentation was a cylindrical tower with different layers and sauce at the bottom. A tasty dish yet a bit too generous with the sauce. Even splitting this with another person, two signature rolls was too much. -Volcano Roll is served next to a flame that burns out in less than a minute. Our server warned us to move the dish onto another plate and not to eat anything that falls onto the original plate. Overall a tasty yet heavy roll.
Great prices and AMAZING QUALITY...LOVE love love
Everything here was incredible. I highly recommend the lychee martini!
I would of given them 5 stars but the dark atmosphere and club music was kind of weird to me. It was so dark that evrytime someone opened the door there was a bright searing light in my eyes. Also the chef kept yelling everytime there was an order up. Which was really annoying. Im not sure a dark sushi restaurant is a good idea. But the food was good and very nicely presented. The service was amazing as well.
This place obviously knows how to serve their customers. Constantly with a super nice approach. The food is fairly priced, always yummy and neat.
Awesome food I didn’t think I liked sushi until I came here. The waitress was very nice and our food came out in under 10 minutes. Overall if your looking for really good sushi this is the place to go to.🍣😁👏🏻👍🏻
I like the vibes. It was nice & clean. Server was super nice. Food came out fast & presentable.
Food was great, service was good, price was fair. A nice dinner date spot.
It was ok. Very dark and cold at night. Staff was nice. Restaurant was clean.
We've been here several times and the food and service are always top notch! Definitely recommend for sushi lovers.
This is my spot if you like fresh sushi with a cool hip vibe... you'll will love this spot. Small and quaint but big on creativity and quality.... Try the Domo Tower with the shrimp chips... A must try...
I loved laid back vibe here but I did place this order to go. I tried the OMG roll (-avocado) ($15) and it was semi sweet crunchy and fresh. Would’ve been a 5 had the staff been more inviting/engaging. Definitely has potential though, I’ll be back to try something else new
One of our favorite sushi stops. Nice environment and great sushi. The Tuna Tower is excellent.
Absolutely my favorite Sushi Restaurant. This place is so good, I drive from Dallas to get my sushi fix.
Good service, good food, and one of the better Sushi places in the area.
I regularly stop by getting some food in here. I like the fast service and well prepared dishes. I recommend this place.
This places has one of the best sushi I've had in a long time. I totally recommend this place if you love and stir fry, or sushi.
It was good food with good service for a good price. Got to take advantage of their buy one get one half off, giving us a chance to try more of their menu. The Wasabi Roll was beautiful and delicious. Not too heavy or overwhelming with wasabi. The Sexy Ryan was also really good; topped with their salmon and spicy mayo. Mmm. No photo but their Domo Tower was also a good choice. Lila was also very attentive.
Anniversary lunch date... Chill spot, great sushi and prices are right. Low key hidden gem in a shopping center, don't be fooled- its really good! Music is good vibes. We shall be back.
This place has really good sushi! I'm surprised at the freshness considering up in Arlington Texas there is not easy access to these sea creatures. Also, there specialty rolls are quite creative. I will be coming back. Also, having lived in Japan I know what good sushi is and this is it. 🤩
Me and a friend came here on a recommendation. For a little hole in he wall this place exudes atmosphere. Low lighting, no backing on booths. For some this could be polarizing, for us it was perfect. The food was delicious, and the service was great! Pictured was the udon noodles, heart attack rolls, and Jacob rolls, all of which were amazing. Not pictured was the Green Tea Ice Cream Tempura; sidenote the ice cream was amazing too.
OMG. My 1st visit. This place is a hidden jewel. The roll I had was great! Staff is nice and attentive. A must try!!!
Staff was professional and polite. Good quality food and portion sizes and prices are affordable. Clean restrooms. Candle lit meal and dim lights make for excellent date night. When coming with a large party, it is best to call in ahead of time so the staff will be able to accommodate appropriately. Since the food is prepared fresh, expect a mild wait time for food and for individual items to come out at different times. It might be just me, but I did not find desserts or a list of options on non-alcoholic drinks in the menu. Do ask you waiter/waitress for any other questions you have, because they will answer you or find you an answer appropriately.
Great food! Be sure to order non sushi food first since it takes a bit longer
Didn't let me and my girlfriend sit while ordering to go, when there were plenty of empty tables. She also asked for a tip when all she did was take our order at the register. Maybe if she was nicer she would've gotten a tip. Sadly, my gf still gave her a tip. Maybe treat your customers with respect, people wouldn't leave 1 star reviews. Other than that, the sushi is pretty good
We love eating out. Last night we arrived in this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful time there with great cooking and an efficient stuff and a great chief cook. We put this restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt go again soon. Highly recommended.
Great food n atmosphere
Best Sushi place in DFW.
Great sushi. Love the baked salmon roll. Definitely ok with them not being open to the public as long as I can still get sushi from there. I don't mind eating them in my car 🤪. The best roll there is the cutie baby roll. Love love 💘 the cucumber wrapped roll for those who don't like seaweed or rice. In a yummy ponzu sauce 😋 Yum! My daughter loves the edemmame and California rolls. The price is great too.
One of my favorite places to eat sushi, everything is always delicious.
The place look nice and cozy but a little bit dark. The text on menu is a little bit small and hard to read with that brightness (see some of the pictures and you'll get the point). Food is great with pretty nice presentation. Price is decent, not cheap nor expensive. 4/5 for lightning.
